The technology we use

cbct machine

A CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) machine is a type of medical imaging device used for dental purposes. It is an advanced 3D x-ray machine that produces detailed images of a patient's teeth, jaw and surrounding areas in order to allow dentists to make more accurate diagnoses, plan treatments, and evaluate outcomes. Unlike traditional 2D x-rays, CBCT scans provide a much larger field of view, allowing dentists to distinguish between healthy and diseased tissue in greater detail. This type of imaging also helps us identify potential problems like impacted or misaligned teeth, as well as the effects of trauma or infection on the jawbone. Additionally, because CBCT scans can be completed in just a few minutes and require minimal radiation exposure for patients, they are often preferred over more traditional imaging methods.

Intraoral scanner

The traditional way of taking a dental impression involves using an impression material and letting it set in the mouth for up to 10 minutes. During this time, patients can experience unpleasant sensations such as gagging & choking. These unpleasant feelings can be avoided by using an intraoral scanner.

An intra-oral scanner is a handheld wireless device with an optical camera that is used by dentists to scan patient’s teeth and gums. This creates an immediate 3D impression of your teeth, gums and dental bite that can be viewed by both dentist and patient on a screen in real time. These scans can be sent to the dental laboratory virtually and are more accurate than conventional impressions.

Intraoral scanners offer several advantages over conventional impressions. They improve patient comfort, produces accurate digital models which create an optimally fitting dental restoration and provide better communication between the patient and the dentist. These scanners can be used to fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, implant restorations and surgical guides for implants.

Intraoral Cameras

IOCs (Intraoral Cameras) are a valuable asset in dentistry and healthcare, first introduced in 1989. They allow the dentist or doctor to show the patient an accurate, clear image of the inside of their mouth, as opposed to using a mirror. This means that patients can more easily understand how their oral health is faring and make decisions about treatment options based on this shared knowledge. Moreover, these images can be stored for future reference in a patient's file. IOCs have become ubiquitous in dental offices due to their many benefits for both patient and doctor alike.

LANAP® PROTOCOL - lASER BASED TREATMENT

"No Cut, No Sow, No Fear"

The LANAP protocol is a laser-based treatment for gum disease. There is no cutting and suturing with the LANAP protocol. Patients typically report less pain and discomfort during and after the procedure, compared to traditional periodontal surgery. This patient friendly procedure helps you get healthy again comfortably, without fear. Generally, the LANAP protocol is less invasive than traditional surgery and helps maintain a beautiful smile line.

The LANAP protocol is a patented periodontal treatment, cleared by the FDA in 2004. The procedure can only be done with the PerioLase® MVP-7; this laser operates at a specific wavelength that attacks the bacteria that contributes to gum disease while leaving healthy tissue intact.
